A Welcoming Community

Day 289  October 18, 2013

“Peace be to the whole community, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”  -Ephesians 6:23

Last year’s Fall Community Picnic Hot Chocolate Team

This is a photo of the Hot Chocolate Team at last year’s Community Fall Festival.  This crew was the glue!

Life has its share of changes in communities and congregations alike.  Sadly, losses of loved ones and illnesses prevented some of the crew from being able to join in helping out this year.  They were truly missed.  Paula, Dave, and Ellie…hope you are feeling better!

However, I am so grateful for the new faces that show up just in time!  Thank you Deb!  And Janie and Hannah and Joe – so grateful for your welcoming hospitality!

Thanks to you all!

Lots of fun for the younger ones playing and celebrating.

Face Painting – Purple and Pink of course!

 Everyone contributed.  Everyone was filled.

(Thanks to you, too, Wally and Max!  Moon Bounces are no fun when the

power goes out.)
