“Work with your hands…literally.  You can decorate them using paint or henna, or even make a hand shadow.  You might need a friend to lend you a hand.  (Sorry I couldn’t resist.)”  from 365 A Daily Creativity Journal by Noah Scalin

JESUS’ HANDS WERE KIND HANDS, lyrics by  Margaret B. Cropper

Jesus’ hands were kind hands,
doing good to all,
Healing pain and sickness,
blessing children small,
Washing tired feet and saving
those who fall;
Jesus’ hands were kind hands,
doing good to all.

Take my hands, Lord Jesus,
let them work for you;
Make them strong and gentle,
kind in all I do;
Let me watch you, Jesus,
till I’m gentle too,
Till my hands are kind hands,
quick to work for you.

“In joined hands there is still some token of hope, in the clinched fist none.” ― Victor Hugo

About 365MissionalPractice

Love God, Love Christ, Love Others. I am passionate about creating Missional Relationships that encourage disciples to personify Christ's message. As a minister in a Community of Christ congregation in Virginia I am learning everyday what it means to be vulnerable, to risk, to experiment, to share in a world that needs the redemptive healing of Christ.
