Fill Us Up, Send Us Out

Day 110  April 21, 2013

“It’s when we start working together that the real healing takes place… it’s when we start spilling our sweat, and not our blood.”   -David Hume

“…Spill some ink, milk, or other liquid and then go from there.”  -from 365 A Daily Creativity Journal by Noah Scalin  (I am still in my hotel room.  I have tried all week to keep the place neat and tidy so I am not sure its a good idea to spill something here, but I will post a video I made with some water being poured.)

God Of Justice , lyrics by Tim Hughes

Video Music by Bethany Dillon and Matt Hammitt, “In Christ Alone”

God of Justice, Saviour to all
Came to rescue the weak and the poor
Chose to serve and not be served

Jesus, You have called us
Freely we’ve received
Now freely we will give

We must go live to feed the hungry
Stand beside the broken
We must go

Stepping forward keep us from just singing
Move us into action
We must go

To act justly everyday
Loving mercy in every way
Walking humbly before You God

You have shown us, what You require
Freely we’ve received
Now freely we will give

Fill us up and send us out
Fill us up and send us out
Fill us up and send us out Lord

It has been an awesome week sharing with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Time to go back home and out into the world. Thanks to all who provided awesome worship, loving listening, and thoughtful planning!   Till we meet again may the Lord bless us and keep us, May His face shine upon us, May He help us to be  Peacemakers in our communities.  Blessings!
