Warm Fuzzies and Cold Pricklies

Day 51   February 20, 2013

“Make something that would not normally be considered cute and cuddly into something that is.”  -from 365 A Daily Creativity Journal by Noah Scalin

A Warm Fuzzy and Cold Prickly

You can find the story here:  Warm Fuzzies and Cold Pricklies

If you have ever stepped on one of the spiky barbed fruit balls of a sweet gum tree you know what a “Cold Prickly” feels like. The Urban Dictionary defines a Cold Prickly as “a note that makes one sad, depressed, and causes one to go down a notch on the self-esteem ladder of life.”  All of us receive many “Cold Pricklies” and most of us have shared a few with others.

A “Warm Fuzzy”, however is much more cute and cuddly.  It is “the warm, pleasant sensation one feels in the stomach and heart area when emotionally moved by an act of goodwill or love”  or “when someone you love or is close to you says or does something that gives a tingling sensation, and melted or warmed heart and sends your heart racing to the heavens…”  (Urban Dictionary)

Let’s make it a “Warm Fuzzy” Day by being kind and loving to all we meet.
