In the Presence of Angels

Day 20 – January 20, 2013

“Silently one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots, of angels.  -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“Buy or make some clay and then use it like you never have before.”    -from 365 A Daily Creativity Journal

“An angel can illuminate the thought and mind of man by strengthening the power of vision.”        -St. Thomas Aquinas

Yesterday I spent time in the presence of angels…ministers to the world’s communities gathered together in one room for the purpose of ministering to one another.  What a rare and exquisite experience!

Hymns of praise and prayers of blessing echoing scriptures and focused mission.  Ears tuned to listen in hushed stillness as each one exposed wounded hearts for Christ’s sake.  Hearts held tenderly in healing hands.  Laughter and love and longing lifted like sacred incense through the room.  Struggles surrendered at the foot of the cross.

As living breathing angels we were together…being still, knowing God.     -Trish 1/19/13

“I will give thanks to You, O Lord, with all my heart, in the presence of the angels I will sing Your praise.”  -Psalm 138:1
