Day 3 – January 3,2013:  “Make something out of paper, but don’t use scissors or glue or draw on it.”

I made a woven mat from a book of prayers and liturgies called “Common Prayer, A Liturgy For Ordinary Radicals.”

Yes….I tore out the pages – but its ok cause a lot were missing already when it was given to me.  I used the pages from January 3rd and 4th and wove the pages back together in the original way they were printed.  The weaving reminds me that we are all interwoven through our prayers for each other, for mission, and for the world.  Although it currently has no glue or scissors, I may just sneak a bit in later for safe keeping.

Never forget the three powerful resources you always have available to you: love, prayer, and forgiveness.  – H.Jackson Brown, Jr.
